Paint Goes A Long Way
I've always heard (and totally believe) that paint is the cheapest way to change a room. Usually you can knock out a painting project in a day or two, and the visional satisfaction is worth the achy back and paint in your hair. So when we first went to look at the Airstream, I had to look past the dark (and metallic silver) paint the previous owners had chosen. I knew painting the inside would be the first thing we would tackle because if I can do anything handy it's paint, and I knew it would make a huge difference. I originally thought we'd tape everything off and use a sprayer to paint, but after getting it here I realized that strategy would be a huge hassle and take so much time. So I dove right in using both 1" and 2" cut in brushes, and a 6" cabinet style roller. I started at the front of the Airstream and am currently working my way towards the back. Another before- note the silver, taupe, and dark brown paint Before of the sitting area at the front...
